A friend of ours invited us to dine in at ZouZou La Mer, at first we were a bit hesitant to say yes as we had a not so very pleasant experience the last time we were there.  We love the interior and vibe of this resto even during our first visit. They also have an amazing view of the beach and an outside dining area.  We were greeted by the staff as soon as we get in and directed us to our table.  One of the guest relations introduced himself as Ibrahim who is kind enough to show us the menu and discuss few things about the resto. We were amazed at how attentive they are compared to our last visit. We ordered cold starters which comprises of Humos, Vine leaf rolls, Eggplant Salad, Yoghurt and few other sides which I forgot the names. The starters are good enough to fill your stomach. The portion is quite good too and it comes with freshly baked breads. We also ordered Calamari which tasted just OK for its price. The Pide cheese with sucuk has become our instant favourite, it was served fresh from the oven. The aroma of sesame seed and cheese makes us want to order another one. Among all these, what stands out the most is the One-meter lamb Kebab (Metrelik Kebab). It tasted so good, the spices used are not overpowering and grilled to perfection. This must be the traditional way of making kebabs. After stuffing our stomach with savoury food, it’s about time to order a dessert. Ibrahim suggested that we try their homemade cakes (Cheesecake and Tiramisu).  We find the cakes a bit too sweet and it needs improvement.

Nevertheless, we had a great experience during our visit.  I’m not planning to write down a full review of our experience but I guess everybody deserves a second try.
