Working as a part-time event planner and program director specializes in wedding, meetings goes from left to right from couples planning their big day, hotels and suppliers. In this industry wearing formal is not necessary but you have to wear something decent, dignify and smart.

The key is look smart.

Don’t mind my beer belly OK.

The overall look is what I called muted tonal. I pulled off all the safest colors available in the color wheel, which are white, gray and black.  Just remember if you’re in doubt as to which color better suits you, assessing yourself and learning the basic color pallet is probably the easiest way to identify the best shades for you. Stick to the basics and you will never go wrong, but be careful in using some of these. For example white is fresh, clean and basic. However wearing white can either make you look clean and fresh or worst untidy and shabby. How to get the right white for you!? Easy, do not get any shade of white whiter/lighter than your teeth. White has probably 3 or more varieties make sure you hit the right shade. For Asian like me, ivory or off white suits me best.

Most of all wear something comfortable and be the best version of you.
