Hand or Fold? This is the common questions we are asking our selves every time we are arranging and organizing our closets. Sometime we came to a point arguing to our selves whether we did the right thing or not. So here’s a quick guide on which is which.
Fold

Basic Tees and T-shirts
Fold all sorts of shirts, tees, basic tees and graphic tees. The best way to fold them is to roll them if your using a pull our drawer and arrange them according to color. In this way this is easy for you to find the right color that will match your mood or that will complete your ensemble.
Demins, Jeans and Sweat Pants
These are heavy texture materials and the best way to keep them is to fold them and stack them from one another.
Hang
Jackets (Lether, Suade, down), Over coat and Blazers
Blazers and casual jackets can be hung on a regular grip hanger, But heavy coats will fare best on a curve suite hanger, which can handle their weight and will keep their shape.
Long Sleeve, Dress Shirts and Dress Pants
For long sleeves I highly suggest to use wooden hanger rather than using wire hanger to avoid that crease on the shoulder which might damage your clothes. For your dress pants or formal pants use clips to hang them along to crease and drape over the bar of a hanger.
Silk, Satin and Velvet items
This is no-brainer: Always place this items in a hanger that has a solid grip. If your hanging down button-downs, make sure the top button is secured, this helps the collar from having creases.
