Where has the day gone by!? The heat of the summer month is already upon Dubai. Temperature is rising and all we can think of is a pefect summer getaway which reminds me of my holiday in the Maldives at the Jumeirah Vittaveli.

I’m always fascinated with Maldives. The atolls and the crystal clear water along with the white powdery sand is beyond unimaginable.

I visited the Jumeirah Vittaveli last October. The resort is beautifully designed with lush vegetation. I stayed at the Beach villa with pool – Sunset view for 3 amazing days.

The view was stunning, The villa is big enough to accommodate 3 adults easily. I love the set up of the of the entire villa with your bed facing the Outdoor pool & partial view of the sea. The pool is surprisingly huge for a Pool villa category in the Maldives. The bed is very comfortable with

Clean sheets all the time. A separate shower and toilet is located at the back end of the villa. The his and hers lavatory and dressing area has an open air set up with

Inviting bathtub on the other side and a rustic swing. The villa is well decorated mainly dark solid woods with a bit of Maldivian touched.

The day bed is perfect spot to hangout or just kill time while Adele or Nora Jones

is doing the rhythm. The villa has a direct access to the beach & very seldom you see other

People passing by. I guess the resort has maintain its concept of being private, secluded and exclusive. The pool bar offers a wide range of beverages and cocktails with

Some easy and quick to prepare snacks like pizzas and quick bites. The Samsara restaurant offers an all-day dining experience serves freshly caught delicacies from sea foods

To Angus burger using mainly organic ingredients. What makes this resort special are the staff and service they provide. The resort is generous enough to surprise you a bottle

Of a sparkling wine and a tropical fruit platter upon check in at your villa not to mention free usage of Bicycles waiting at your doorstep to explore the entire resort. The fish feeding

Is also a one of a kind experienced specially for families with kids even for the adults and couples. The resort is also very family friendly with kids club for the young ones.

The PADI Diving Centre is heaven for the professional divers so as to someone who would just like to snorkel, kayaking or other water sports. The only downside of this resort is the garbage dump site facing one of the restaurant but far enough for you to smell the decomposing debris. If you are an environmentalist or sort of you may find this uncomfortable and disturbing. Rest assured the resort offers only best of What a Jumeirah property standard is. Overall my experience is beyond my expectation for a luxury resort. Jumeirah Vittali is highly commendable for someone seeking to relax or spend time together with their loved ones, perfect for a short getaway.
