Good Morning people of the sand! As the saying goes,  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Having a sumptuous Turkish breakfast with a view of the Burj Khalifa is a mighty treat. I’m a morning person and I love taking time preparing food every day before I go to work and make sure I eat good breakfast.  Recently we were invited to a brunch and set us up a table with the amazing view of the iconic Burj Khalifa.  This is not Khel’s first time at this restaurant, the last time he was here, he came home bragging how tender and delicious their meat is. He was very passionate about describing each and every dish he had… and yes I was imagining and salivating the way he describes His experience. What makes a Turkish breakfast special? let the photos do the talking.  On the other hand hmmmmmm… I don’t think I can stop myself sharing you guys our experience. To start with and name a few (I promised few) The cheese, jams, olives and freshly baked breads selections is more than enough to make a tummy happy.  The fresh tomato and cucumber salad drizzled with olive oil will make you think that simple food is often the best.  We love the slight hint of sweetness of the Soudjuk Eggs – something really new to our taste buds. The HoneyComb  – paired it with a bread and cheese is just divine. I promised few but It seems I can go over and over again sharing you how our day started last weekend.  We don’t want a lot of spoilers here and we want you to have the first-hand experience and tell us your story too.  priced at AED 98 per person, Gunaydin offers the freshest and only the best ingredients to invigorate your day ahead. located at Souq Al Bahr right across the fountain and Dubai Mall.

Trying out their Honey Comb and Cheese on Pita bread with Sesame. I really enjoyed the experience of eating honey straight from the honeycomb. How fresh can that be!

Menemen is a traditional Turkish dish which includes eggs, tomato, green peppers, and spices such as ground black pepper, ground red pepper, salt and oregano.   Best paired with a piece of Pita Bread. Can’t stop using it as a spread.

Another main dish that I need to give a hands-down is this Sudjuk. Sudjuk Egg – Simply saute the sliced sucuk with chopped tomatoes for a few minutes before cracking the eggs, juicy tomatoes go well with the spicy sauce

Khel is already stuffed with the selection of Cheese platter and freshly baked breads,  But he made sure he has room for the next dish and of course the dessert.
